Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a relative new brain- based therapeutic approach to healing focusing on eye movement and bilateral sensations. Brain-based therapy is the fastest-growing area in the field of psychological health, because it has proven it can immediately address issues that talk therapy can take years to heal. Recently, 3 of our therapist were trained in this modality and would like to share this approach with our clients. I have listed links with detail information on this approach for you.

Family Systems Approach

The family systems theory is a theory introduced by Dr. Murray Bowen that suggests individuals cannot be understood in isolation from one another, but rather as a part of their family, as the family is an emotional unit. The modal treats the family as a unit and focuses on the relationships between each person as well as the spoken and unspoken rules of the family.
